Overview
Cotton Candy Spin is a mobile game that uses on-device storage plus limited third-party services to support gameplay, ads, and in-app purchases. This policy explains what information is stored on your device, what information is processed by our service providers, and how that information is used.
Information Stored On Your Device
The app stores gameplay and preference data locally on your device so your progress can continue between sessions. This can include saved progress, high scores, cosmetic unlocks, premium unlock status, sound and haptics settings, and timestamps such as last active time.
Anonymous Account And Backend Records
The app creates an anonymous account through Supabase so purchases can be verified and restored. This does not require a username, password, or profile details from you, but it does create a persistent account identifier and session data. We also store server-side entitlement and purchase verification records such as your anonymous user ID, purchased product IDs, granted premium features, original transaction IDs, purchase environment, and related verification timestamps and audit logs.
Ads
The app uses Google AdMob to show interstitial ads between game rounds. When ads are requested or displayed, Google and its partners may process information such as device and advertising identifiers, IP address, app and ad interaction data, diagnostics, and performance data in accordance with their own privacy terms. Ads are shown only between rounds and never during active gameplay. Purchasing the remove-ads feature disables all ads.
In-App Purchases
The app offers in-app purchases handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card or billing information. To unlock and restore purchased features, the app receives transaction information from Apple, sends the signed transaction to our Supabase verification service, and stores purchase entitlement records needed to confirm ownership, restore purchases, prevent duplicate grants, and maintain an audit trail.
How We Use Information
We use information handled by the app to save your progress, remember your settings, deliver ads, process and restore purchases, prevent fraud or abuse in purchase verification, troubleshoot service issues, and comply with legal or platform requirements.
Sharing With Service Providers
We share limited information with service providers only as needed to operate the app features described above. These providers currently include Supabase for anonymous authentication and purchase entitlement storage, Google AdMob for advertising, and Apple for App Store purchase processing and restoration. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy practices.
Tracking And Personalized Advertising
Before loading ads, the app may show a Google consent form where required by law or platform policy. On iOS, if you choose or are eligible for personalized ads, the app may also show Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission prompt before requesting ads. If you decline tracking or choose not to allow personalized ads, the app will continue to request ads in a limited or non-personalized mode when available. You can revisit ad privacy choices from the Settings panel on the Info screen.
Data Retention And Deletion
Locally stored game data remains on your device until you clear it in the app or uninstall the app. Anonymous session data may remain on the device until it expires or is removed. Server-side purchase and entitlement records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to support purchase restoration, fraud prevention, dispute handling, recordkeeping, and legal compliance.
Children
The app is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided information to us in a way that raises a privacy concern, please contact us so we can review the issue.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the app, its services, or legal requirements change. When we do, we will update the Last Updated date shown in the app and on the published version of the policy.
